Snowman Fastpack (Oct 5 – 19, 2024) Embark on a spiritual odyssey through Bhutan’s mystical high passes. Traverse prayer flag-laden trails, encounter dzongs and yak caravans, and immerse yourself in a land whispered in legend. The numbers: 15 days including; briefing day in Thimpu and departure; 11 days on trail including 2 acclimatization days. Day 2 Acclimatisation hike to the β€˜Tiger’s Nest’, the sacred Taktshang monastery (3120m)

Day 3 Acclimatisation hike to Gung Karpo La (4300m)

Day 4 Shana to Soi Thangthangkha (3680m), Distance: 19k

Day 5 Soi Thangthangkha (3680m)Β to Jangothang (4040m), Distance: 19k

Day 6 Acclimatization day at Jomolhari base camp

Day 7 Jangothang (4040m) to Chebisa (3910m) via Nyili La (4680m), Distance 25k

Day 8: Acclimatization/cultural stop at Chebisa village

Day 9: Chebisa (3910m) to Shomuthang (3985m), Distance: 17k

Day 10: Shomuthang (3985m) to Robluthang (4160m) via Jhari La (4600 m), Distance: 18k

Day 11: Robluthang (4160m) to Limithang (4090m), Distance: 19k

Day 12: Limithang (4090m) to Laya (3820m), Distance: 10k

Day 13: Laya (3820m) to Tongchu Ja (3510m), Distance: 16k

Day 14: Sightseeing; Old capital Punakha, Punakha Dzong (Palace of Great Happiness). Overnight in Thumphu
