Join Our High Altitude Treks
While we love the thrill of fastpacking, we also specialize in taking trekkers on unforgettable journeys in remote corners of Nepal. From the majestic peaks of Annapurna to the towering summits of Everest and everything in between, we know how to get off the beaten path and immerse you in the essence of the Himalayas. At HAL, we believe that a great trek is not just about reaching the summit, but also about experiencing the unique beauty and culture of each destination. And what better way to do so than by getting out of the touristic crowds and taking in the sweet fragrance of the juniper trees that fill the air? So pack your bags, lace up your hiking boots, and join us on a trek that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime!
2025 Trek Departures
The Annapurna foothills offer a rewarding trekking experience, immersing you in local culture and a delicious culinary journey. You’ll get up-close views of 8,000-meter giants like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, as well as the iconic Machhapuchre (Fishtail). The route starts with a gentle acclimatization, connecting with three distinct base camps: Annapurna, Machhapuchre, and Mardi. This concept was born from Sudeep and Srijan’s reconnaissance trip last December (see the full report here). This 12-day journey carves a neo-classic path through the heart of the Annapurna massif. The itinerary begins with stunning vistas from Mohare Danda before linking to the main ABC and Mardi trails. It’s an adventure that guides you through a spectrum of landscapes, from lush rhododendron forests to sweeping alpine meadows, balancing the challenge of mountain trekking with the warmth of cultural immersion.
