Update on the recent political events in Nepal

Nepal has recently undergone a significant political change, which began with protests from young citizens. Unfortunately, this led to a difficult and sad period for the country. We are grieving the loss of lives and hope for a thorough investigation into the events that occurred.

Nepal now has its first female interim prime minister, Sushila Karki. Her team’s main objective is to manage the country’s daily operations and prepare for a general election scheduled for March 5, 2026. Given her prior role as Chief Justice and her strong reputation for fighting corruption, there is hope for a stable transition.

The situation has largely normalized, and we are monitoring events closely. While there is much work ahead for the new government and Nepali citizens, we are optimistic about the future. For the time being, we do not foresee any impact on our upcoming trips and are committed to ensuring the safety and quality of all our adventures.
